About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and discreet personal assistant to support a businessman based in Siena, Italy. This is a hands-on, dynamic role requiring full availability and a proactive mindset. You will manage both professional and personal affairs, including the coordination of ongoing villa renovation projects and the day-to-day personal needs of the employer. You will serve as the central point of contact between the employer, contractors, and service providers across a multilingual and multicultural environment.
Key responsibilities
- Renovation & property coordination_
- Source, vet, and hire handymen, builders, and specialist tradespeople for villa renovation projects
- Coordinate and supervise renovation works across one or more properties in the Siena area
- Obtain and compare quotes, track budgets, and report progress to the employer
- Liaise daily with contractors, architects, and suppliers — in Italian as needed
- Ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and to the expected standard
- Handle procurement of materials, furnishings, and equipment when required
- Personal & administrative assistance_
- Manage the employer's daily agenda, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Book and coordinate medical appointments, specialist consultations, and follow-ups
- Handle all correspondence and communications in Arabic, English, and Italian
- Coordinate meetings, business lunches, and private engagements
- Liaise with international contacts, business partners, and service providers
- Run personal errands and manage household-related logistics
- Prepare documents, briefing notes, and summaries as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Accompany the employer on trips and handle on-the-go logistics when required
Language requirements — mandatory
- Arabic: fluent (native preferred)
