Looker Developer at BairesDev

As a Looker Developer, you will build and maintain robust data models and explores using LookML to drive business intelligence. You will serve as the architect of the semantic layer, ensuring that complex data sets are transformed into actionable insights that empower teams to make data-driven decisions.

What You'll Do:
- Design and develop scalable data models using LookML to define dimensions and measures.




- Build and maintain the Looker semantic layer to ensure data consistency and accuracy across the organization.
- Create and optimize Looker explores and dashboards to provide self-service analytics for stakeholders.
- Implement business logic and complex metrics within LookML to support diverse reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure underlying data structures are optimized for Looker performance.
- Maintain and document Looker models to ensure high-quality standards and ease of use for end users.

What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics.
- Proven expertise in building data models and explores using LookML.
- Hands-on experience defining metrics, dimensions, and business logic in Looker's semantic layer.
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and the Google Cloud ecosystem.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
