Job description:
You are a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in operating systems, software maintenance, and security. You thrive in managing and improving existing OS versions, ensuring stability, security, and performance. You are highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues. Your ability to track vulnerabilities, oversee software releases, and support internal teams makes you a key player in delivering high-quality cybersecurity solutions. At CYSEC,

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage existing OS versions, ensuring stability and performance.
- Oversee software releases, including version updates and patches.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve reported or tested software bugs.
- Monitor and address security vulnerabilities (CVE tracking and resolution).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement improvements and fixes.
- Document maintenance processes and update technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software maintenance, OS management, or system administration.
- Strong understanding of Linux-based operating systems; experience working with Yocto is a plus.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including CVE tracking and vulnerability management.
- Experience with software release processes and version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus.
