The HR BP is responsible for aligning HR activities with the business in the Italy region by providing a comprehensive, professional, and efficient service. The role offers strategic and operational support, advice, and information to managers and employees, as well as collaboration with other members of the HR team. Responsibilities cover individual employee relations, budgeting for staff and employment-related costs, reporting, resource planning, recruitment, and the analysis and oversight of HR policies and procedures. The HRBP supports an overall approach to the development, management, and implementation of HR activities.
Responsibilitiesï¼
- Provision of generalist and operational HR support, acting as an internal HR consultant by providing advice and objective feedback to individuals and managers.
- Understand the HR needs of the business in Italy and partner with line managers to identify HR service requirements and support business change efforts, initiating and facilitating change and business improvement activities in line with strategy.
- Act as the first point of contact for line managers and employees regarding issues related to Italian employment legislation and dispute resolution, assisting in handling/resolving matters or referring them to the appropriate source of support.
- Support Learning & Development activities, including the design and delivery of local talent management and succession planning, and sourcing relevant performance data. Facilitate organizational effectiveness and communication initiatives in line with strategy.
- Contribute to and lead HR projects, and actively participate in business projects.
- Facilitate the understanding and implementation of key HR processes (resourcing, performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, succession planning, HR policies and practices,
and employment legislation), with support from the HR team where relevant.
- Implement and maintain the highest professional standards for all HR activities in accordance with Italian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Manage the office administration/reception team, allocate tasks effectively, and improve overall administrative efficiency.
- Employee Health, Safety, and Compliance Support in line with Italian regulations.
Requirements
- Up-to-date knowledge of Italian employment laws and best-practice HR policies and procedures.
- At least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in an equivalent role within a multinational environment.
- Experience in a similar role within an international company and a fast-paced industry sector.
- Masterâs degree.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience working in multicultural environments.
- Fluency in English, both written and oral communication skills.
