The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with bFortiGate firewalls /b, bFortiAnalyzer /b, and bVPN technologies /b, and is comfortable working in fast‑paced, security‑focused environments. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 bKey Responsibilities /b ul liDesign, configure, deploy and maintain bFortiGate firewalls /b, including security policies, NAT, routing, HA, and SD‑WAN. /li liManage and optimize bFortiAnalyzer /b for log collection, event correlation, reporting, and security analytics. /li liImplement, troubleshoot, and support bVPN solutions /b, including IPsec, SSL VPN, and site‑to‑site connectivity. /li liMonitor network performance and security posture, proactively identifying and resolving issues. /li liPerform firmware upgrades, configuration backups, and lifecycle management for Fortinet appliances. /li liCollaborate with security, infrastructure,
and application teams to ensure secure and reliable network operations. /li liConduct root‑cause analysis for network incidents and implement corrective actions. /li liMaintain detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures. /li liParticipate in on‑call rotation and provide escalation support as needed. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 bMust-Have Skills Experience /b ul liStrong hands‑on experience with bFortiGate firewalls /b (mid‑range and enterprise models preferred). /li liProficiency with bFortiAnalyzer /b for centralized logging, reporting, and event management. /li liSolid understanding of bVPN technologies /b: IPsec, SSL VPN, remote access, and site‑to‑site tunnels. /li liKnowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF/BGP), VLANs, switching, and NAT. /li liExperience with network security concepts: intrusion prevention, content filtering, threat intelligence, and segmentation. /li liAbility to analyze packet captures and troubleshoot complex network issues. /li liFamiliarity with other Fortinet products (FortiManager, FortiSwitch, FortiAP) is a plus. /li liExcellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving and negotiating skills. /li liComfortable working in a customer‑facing environment and in some customer meetings. /li liComfortable with up to 20% travel to customer sites and other PDF offices/facilities. /li /ul bNice to Have Skills and Certifications /b ul libFortinet NSE certifications /b (NSE4, NSE5, or higher). /li liExperience in enterprise, MSP, and multi‑tenant environments. /li liKnowledge of cloud networking (AWS) and hybrid connectivity. /li liScripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell, API integrations). /li liExperience with setting up or administering SASE, ZTNA networks. /li liExposure with LLM, Agentic workflows, MCP servers and interfaces. /li /ul h3Pay Range /h3 pEUR €40,000.00 - €50,000.00 /Yr. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
