Cooperating with planner buyer and Production/PDS dept., the planner buyer internship key activities are (but are not limited to): - Analyze daily material needs.
- Analyze consumption and maintain the purchasing planning file.
- Check supplies and material expiration dates.
- Request offers from suppliers and create the purchase request in SAP and the ARIBA system according with the supplier's delivery times
- Prepare the procurement procedure align with the order confirmation.
- Research dual sourcing to reduce costs improving products quality.
- Control department budget
