intergovernmental organization? The Senior Technician
(Transmission/SATCOM) is responsible for performing advanced
maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of NATO CIS
(Communication and Information Systems), with specific focus on
transmission and satellite communication (SATCOM) systems. The role
involves supporting deployable and static tactical systems,
ensuring operational readiness, and adhering to military and
industrial standards. The technician will also assist in planning,
technical analysis, and coordination activities related to CIS
assets. Responsibilities: Assists in performing 3rd level
maintenance on all deployable and static CIS systems. Diagnoses,
troubleshoots, maintains and repairs Transmission and SATCOM
systems; Assists in performing overhauls, modifications,
refurbishments, and upgrades to transmission systems as directed by
the supervisor; Assists in planning, synchronizing, scheduling, and
tracking of CSSC assets for corrective and preventative maintenance




on all NATO CIS equipment based on Central, Operational, and
Deployable Service Level Agreements; Assists in scheduling and
tracking capability of CSSC activities in support of operations,
exercises, projects static Communications Information Systems (CIS)
and Deployable CIS (DCIS); Assists in directing, supervising,
planning, coordinating, monitoring and reporting upon all technical
work and ensures that all technical work is performed in line with
Agency's, industrial and/or military standards; Assists in
coordination with Resource Management Branch (RMB) in regards to
execution, planning, technical, logistical, and asset issues;
Develops detailed analysis of system deficiencies and provides
advice on technical solutions in line with existing standards to
ensure operational readiness for all customers and deployable
Operational Systems Owners; Assists and monitors assigned technical
tasks efficiently to ensure that they can be execu
