Terms of EmploymentThis is a 12 month position for 4 hours/day. This position is not eligible for benefits. Start time is flexible for second shift. Hours may vary due to school activities, summer workor inclement weather. May require overtime.
PurposePerform general cleaning and maintenance in district buildings and grounds; maintains equipment in functional condition; and provides cleaning and custodial assistance to students, teachers, visitors and others as necessary. Performs related duties and general maintenance work as required.
QualificationsKnowledge of cleaning and related custodial duties is desirable. Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, machines, and equipment such as floor machines, vacuums, etc., is desirable. Must be able to lift, pullor push 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequentlyand 50 pounds occasionally. A 50-pound lift test will be required. Must be able to communicate effectively with students, staffand the general public. Must be able to get along with others in a team situation.
