Software Product Assurance Manager (m/f)
Ref.PA_2026_SWPA
The location can be Milano, Roma, Torino or Benevento.
The ideal candidate has worked on challenging Space application projects.
Your Tasks
- Ensure product assurance on software embedded into mission-critical systems either on-board or ground-based
- Ensure that Software Development and Acquisition follows Software Quality standards
- Attend to the planned Software Project Review during the whole development lifecycle
- Report and process findings (SPR) and nonconformances (NCR) caused by Software
- Interfacing with Internal Software Development Team
- Interfacing with PA manager for Software Aspects of Qualification
- Interfacing with customer for Software Aspects
Your Qualifications
- Able to act as direct interface with customer for Software quality topics
- University degree is preferred but Technical Diploma combined with documented 10-year experience in the software development for Aerospace sector is considered
- Knowledge of Software Development processes and lifecycles
- experience as a Software developer for real-time,
mission critical software for space industry or in similar sectors (aeronautics, railways )
- Knowledge of Software requirement management tools (e.g. DOORS)
- Knowledge of Software static analysis and metrics tools
- Knowledge of MISRA C coding standard
- Knowledge of Verification techniques for Software (testing, inspections)
- Knowledge of the relevant to Software Development standards such as ECSS standards or similar (DO-178C, AQAP2210; DEF-STAN-0055, ISO 26262, IEC 62279, IEC 62304; ISO/IEC 12207)
- Knowledge of Software Configuration fundamentals and tools
- Knowledge of the EN9100:2018 standard
- Good Knowledge of the MS Office tools in Windows environment
- Working level fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
The gross annual remuneration package will be determined based on the degree of alignment between the candidate’s profile and the requirements of the role, as well as the level of professional experience acquired. The salary range is therefore as follows:
€30,000–€60,000
