Country Claims Manager, Italy Munich Re Specialty was formed in 2023 as a stand-alone division, bringing together the wider Munich Re Group's primary specialty business units. With strong foundations in the UK and the US, MRS-GM is expanding its footprint across key European markets. As part of this growth, we are seeking a Country Claims Manager,
Italy to establish and lead our Claims capability in the Italian market. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in building a best-in-class Claims function supporting the growth of our Specialty business across Property, Construction & Engineering, and future lines of business. Working closely with the Country MD, Underwriting leadership and international stakeholders, you will drive claims excellence, contribute to business strategy, and help shape our long-term success in Italy. This role will suit a commercially minded and technically strong claims leader who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment, building capabilities, influencing strategy, and delivering outstanding outcomes for clients, brokers, partners, and insureds.
