About the position
Based in Rome, Italy and under the direct supervision of the Global Treasury Manager, Assistant I - Treasury provides operational support to the Treasury HQ team, across support in the payment processing, accounts payable and registration of cash entries, bank account maintenance, and treasury reporting.
The role ensures the accurate and timely recording, and reconciliation of payment transactions in OCS and Agresso, supporting multi-currency disbursement processing across StoneX, BPER, and HSBC platforms, and maintaining up-to-date banking records and documentation to support the Unit's cash planning, reporting, and audit requirements. The position also serves as backup for the Corporate Credit Card process to ensure business continuity and provides day-to-day support to Treasury Analysts and internal stakeholders on payment-related queries.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Support in the accurate and timely review of payment requests, including calculation of disbursement totals by currency for cash planning.
- Support in the complete and error-free recording of payment transactions in OCS/Agresso, including Post to GL processing and timely notification of rejected payments to internal stakeholders.
