Mission

The Faculty Manager is responsible for leading the recruitment, development, engagement, performance, and career progression of the School's faculty across both Bachelor's and Master's programmes. Working in close liaison with and under the supervision of the responsible Associate Dean, the Faculty Manager plays a strategic role in ensuring that the School attracts, develops, and retains outstanding academic talent aligned with its educational vision, quality standards, and growth objectives.

The role is dedicated to fostering a high-performing faculty community that delivers academic excellence, supports innovation in teaching, and contributes to the achievement of the School's strategic goals, while collaborating effectively with administrative teams to ensure smooth and efficient faculty-related processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Work in close collaboration with and under the supervision of the responsible Associate Dean to implement the School's faculty strategy, policies, and academic staffing priorities.
- Lead the management of faculty across Bachelor's and Master's programmes, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, talent identification, development, evaluation, retention, and promotion.
- Proactively scout, identify, and recruit new academic talent and industry experts whose profiles align with the School's vision, programme portfolio, and future strategic needs.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential faculty candidates to support programme expansion, succession planning, and academic excellence.
- Support and train Academic Programme Directors in the effective management of internal and adjunct faculty processes.
- Ensure compliance with faculty ratios, accreditation requirements, and the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SGIC).




- Monitor and ensure the achievement of faculty performance objectives and teaching evaluation outcomes in line with the School's academic quality standards.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of faculty development, talent management, and career progression initiatives that support the School's current and future objectives.
- Manage the Annual Faculty Training Plan, promoting teaching innovation, pedagogical excellence, and continuous professional development in coordination with the relevant Associate Dean.
- Promote faculty engagement, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging within the School community.
- Implement and monitor faculty career development and training plans in coordination with the relevant Associate Dean.
- Monitor and achieve faculty-related KPIs, including quality, satisfaction, engagement, recruitment effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
- Liaise closely with the Administrative Department to ensure efficient, compliant, and timely management of faculty-related documentation and processes.
- Oversee administrative processes related to faculty and teaching collaborators, including contracting, onboarding, termination processes, compensation management, budget allocation, and related reporting activities.

Qualifications

- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Education, Human Resources,



or a related field.
- Master's degree and/or PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in university management, faculty affairs, academic administration, talent management, or related areas.
- Experience in academic recruitment, faculty development, or higher education talent management will be highly valued.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Italian, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages, is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €30,000.00 - €32,000.00 per year
