Position: Manufacturing Project EngineerLocation: Magenta, ItalyJob Id:2749# of Openings:1About the RoleAbout The RoleThe Manufacturing Project Engineer is responsible for all tasks and activities related to manufacturing processes.

They lead, budget and schedule internal projects supervising the manufacture of the systems including process improvements and troubleshooting.ResponsabilitiesResponsible for planning and overseeing equipment produced in Italy and coordinate all project elements including engineering design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and final acceptanceManage the project within budgetPrepare and maintain a GANTT to plan and monitor all the activities related to the assigned projectsKeep strong relationship with suppliers and monitor the manufacture and respect of delivery of componentsGenerates the Purchase Requests and RFQs to any supplier, expediting and monitoring deliveries on the assigned projectsPlan project requirements and resources, including the sourcing of sub-contract elements, etc.React promptly and effectively to changing client and product needsAnticipate any potential project risks, identifying and establishing corrective actionsProduce deliverables on-time to customer requirements, clarifying these requirements where necessaryAccurately cost any changes in specificationsProduce clear, focused and understandable explanations for change requestsTrack customer changes and participate in customer meetings when requiredParticipates in Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEAs), Quality history reviews,



robustness studies, etcTrack tasks against the project timing planAssist with design verification and sign off reportingApply specific technical skills as required to support the customer or colleaguesBe willing and available to work at customer premises as requiredContribute to continuous improvement activitiesQuality control of work by appropriate reviews and track quality issues over the entire project scopeSupport and lead process improvement activitiesWrite reports and present progress at project meetings and to clientsPlan projects or subtasks so they may be tracked and presentedFeeds with reliable data the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructionsUndertake continuous training and developmentPerform root cause analysis and resolve problemsLiaise and communicate with other departments (Engineering & Admin), customers, suppliers and other service provider sSkillsEngineer (Dipl.-Ing.), Master or Bachelor of Science or equivalent education.+4 year' experience in Job Based Manufacturing (Manufacturing to Order)Good understanding of engineering principlesMechanical, electrical, electronic or software background desirableExperience in Bill of Material (BOM)
