/p pbPurpose of the position: /b As bRailway and Road Alignment Engineer /b, you will respond to the Railway and Road Alignment Leader and be part of the Sustainable Infrastructures business line.
You will be part of the team dedicated to the design of the linear infrastructures as Railway, Highway and Subway.
/p pbHow can you support us?
Here below your responsibilities: /b /p ul liDesign of road and railway alignments, including compliance checks with applicable regulations (also international); /li liDesign of road pavements and railway track systems; /li liDesign of infrastructure systems (cost–agevolazioni analysis, line capacity studies and node analysis); /li liPrinciples of road hydraulics and Topography; /li liBIM modeling of the infrastructure and Quantity calculations; /li liDefinition of discipline activity lists and coordination of activities in accordance with the project schedule; /li liReview and verification of designs produced by third parties and Technical assistance for issues arising on construction sites.
/li /ul pbEducation: /b Master's Degree/bachelor's degree in: Civil Engineering with a specialization in Infrastructure and Transportation,

with specific experience in infrastructure design and a broad understanding of the disciplines involved in the project; /p pbExperience: /b +5 years in linear infrastructures design/works; /p pbLanguages: /b Full professional proficiency, both written and spoken, in English; /p pbTechnical Skills: /b /p ul liKnowledge of alignment design /li liKnowledge of railway track /li liKnowledge of road pavement design /li liGood knowledge of construction technologies for infrastructure works.
/li /ul pbIT Skills: /b /p ul liProven experience in the use of major software tools (Civil 3D, Roads, Civil Design, OpenRail, Navisworks, GIS products, etc.); /li liExperience in BIM-based design and understanding of related issues, with proven modeling experience, is considered a distinguishing asset; /li liKnowledge of programming languages (including visual programming such as Dynamo or similar) is appreciated; /li /ul pbWhat else should you know?
