ppWe are looking for a Mission Control System Engineer on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Rome, Italy. /p /brpbPlease note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). /b /p /brpThe successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to: /p /brul /brliDesign the high level architecture of the Mission Control System, and specify its main functionalities; /li /brliDefine MCS requirements and interfaces, including Space to Ground IF and Ground to Ground IF; /li /brliCollaborate with satellite specialists for the integration of telemetry, tracking command (TTC); /li /brliFollow MIB (mission information base) construction and maintenance, coordinating the input from satellite manufactures and the activities of MIB specialists; /li /brliConduct integration, validation and verification, and testing to ensure that system requirements and performance are met; /li /brliSupport real-time operations during critical mission phases (launch, LEOP, commissioning); /li /brliPrepare system related documentation (Specifications, Design, Technical Notes, User Manuals, Test Procedures and Reports); /li /brliTechnical management of suppliers, including preparation of SoW and WPD, review of the deliverables associated with MCS components; /li /brliSupport the operations team to develop, validate, and implement operational procedures for satellite command and control; /li /brliParticipate to periodic technical meetings; /li /brliParticipate in the continuous improvement of processes and technological innovation in the field of mission control. /li /br /ul /brpbATG is dedicated to diversity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer. or any other reason protected by relevant state or municipal legislation, we are pleased to consider all eligible candidates for employment. /b /p /brh3Qualifications /h3 /brul /brliMaster’s degree in STEM disciplines; /li /brliAt least four years of relevant work experience; /li /brliKnowledge of Mission Control System concepts, mechanism and functionalities, including: /brul /brliTelemetry reception and decoding (Packet and Parameters); /li /brliTelecommand preparation, encoding and releases aspects; /li /brliMission Information Base / Mission Database management; /li /brliConnectivity with the Ground Stations; /li /br /ul /br /li /brliSolid knowledge of the principles of TTC; /li /brliExperience with TM/TC protocols (CCSDS, ECSS) and Mission Control systems (ESOC, SCOS-2000, EGSCC or equivalent); /li /brliKnowledge of relevant Space Industry Standards, such as ECSS and CCSDS; /li /brliFamiliarity with at least one programming language such as Python, C/C++, Java or Linux environments; /li /brliAbility to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems; /li /brliExcellent problem solving skills and working in multidisciplinary teams; /li /brliQuality orientation, attention to detail and systemic approach; /li /brliGood knowledge of technical English; /li /brliExperience with real-time satellite operations is considered an asset; /li /brliKnowledge of tools for requirements management (e.g. DOORS) and versioning system (e.g Git) is considered an asset; /li /brliExperience with ticketing systems (e.g. Jira, Redmine) is considered an asset; /li /brliKnowledge of IP networks, IT security and distributed systems is considered an asset; /li /brliFamiliarity with cloud architectures for ground segments (e.g., Ground Station Network as a Service, microservices and containers) is considered an asset; /li /brliBackground in machine learning or automation for space operations is considered an asset; /li /brliCandidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU; /li /brliFluency in English, both written and spoken. /li /brliDue date: /li /br /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
