ROLE SUMMARY: The International School of Milan is seeking a talented and committed Business Management, Individuals and Societies teacher with a passion for education, dedication, creativity, and outstanding experience from the best schools worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing department within a well-established IB school. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach Business Management, Indivduals and Societies across the IB DP and MP
- Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB philosophy
- Prepare students for IB assessments,
including Internal Assessments and final examinations
- Support students in developing critical thinking, writing and analytical skills
- Monitor and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and collaborative planning within the department
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and classroom practice
- Engage positively with parents and the wider school community
- Contribute to the broader life of the school, including extracurricular activities
- Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Business Management at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A collaborative and student-centred approach to teaching
- Legal right to live and work in Italy (EU passport or valid work permit)
