- As Area Manager you will respond to the Commercial Director. Your area of responsibility will be Northwestern Italy including Piemonte, Val d’Aosta and the main part of Lombardia, with a specific focus on Milano.
You will manage a sales force of 8 agents (growing to a team of 13). Your responsibilities will span from formulating business development strategies to ensuring operational efficiency and financial success to achieve sales and pricing goals in your area. **Responsibilities**: - Formulate business development strategies to ensure long-term success.
- Set standards and objectives.
- Lead a sales team, help them plan their activities and motivate them to reach sales targets
- Optimize and oversee operations to ensure efficient collaboration with the customers (pharmacies)
- Undertake financial management to ensure the pharmacies are profitable and stay within budget.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
- Deal with problems by providing creative and practical solutions.
- Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve it. **Profile**: - 4-5 years’ experience as an area manager or similar with team management
- Pharmacy or Healthcare background is mandatory
- Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles
- Digital and computer skills
- Exceptional communication, leadership and interpersonal abilities
- Strong business acumen with a strategic orientation
