**Position**:
EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist As **Arrow Global Components **(AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. Our business is based on a trusted, long-lasting net of relationships with industry leaders, both on the supplier and customer side. **EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist** **What will you do**:
Arrow is looking for an EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist who possesses a global mindset and a keen interest in global trade compliance processes. You will play a vital role in supporting the compliance and risk management team, ensuring adherence to trade management and control laws and regulations for international shipments. The position requires a thorough understanding of applicable EU and U.S. export and import control laws and involves liaising with various internal groups across Arrow businesses as well as government licensing offices, such as Dutch CDIU, German BAFA, French SBDU, UK DIT and many more. **We offer a hybrid work model** (3 days onsite, 2 days from home). **What will you be doing at Arrow AGC?**
- Process global supply chain partner reviews, including reviews of current government restricted / denied parties list matches
- Collect, review and vet End Use Statements
- Conduct and document further due diligence for partners and/or transactions
- Day-to day monitoring and clearance of transactions while remaining compliant with applicable laws and regulations
- Analyze different transactional reports
- Answer internal compliance requests




- Classify commodities based on EU/US Dual-Use lists **What we are looking for**:
You will support the team, located in different EMEA countries focused on Compliance Risk Management, Export License Management, and specific Customer Controls for Arrow Global Businesses.
- Experience in Logistics, Customs or International Trade
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in similar role
- Business fluency in Italian and English
- Strong capability in understanding of written and spoken processes, instructions, reports, and regulations.
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
- Very good knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), specially advanced EXCEL skills.
- Oracle experience is a plus
- You are self-reliant, and a self-starter with the ability to deal with challenging situations
- Customs process knowledge and trade compliance process understanding are of advantage
- Customs, logistics or transportation specialists or classification / HTS tariff engineering background are advantageous
- Interest in semiconductor industry and technology is a plus
