Role Purpose Build and maintain a scalable, secure, and well-governed Google Cloud Platform (GCP) foundation to support multiple engineering teams, ensuring strong cloud governance, automation, and operational readiness, while enabling key GCP services such as BigQuery , Vertex AI , and GKE .
Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
- Manage and optimize the GCP structure (projects, folders, IAM, governance policies).
- Ensure secure access management and SSO integration.
- Implement cloud security best practices and compliance guardrails.
- Support networking and connectivity (VPC, firewall rules, routing).
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Enable core GCP services including GKE, BigQuery, and Vertex AI within a controlled framework.
The Type Of Person We Are Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience managing multi-project cloud environments.
- Solid knowledge of IAM, governance, and cloud security principles.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred).
- Good understanding of cloud networking fundamentals.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Starting annual gross base salary: €58,500. Final compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications and objective, gender-neutral criteria applied during the selection process. Collective Bargaining Agreement: CCNL Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi (Commercio).
