Head of I-Hub Italy The new Innovation Hub in Padua - Italy is looking for a global-minded organizational builder who can scale capabilities and lead through influence across a complex international matrix organization.
What You'll Do
Strategy Implementation and Sustainable Hub Growth
- Translate the Innovation Strategy and the direction of the Head of Innovation Excellence into a multi-year Hub roadmap and annual plans for capabilities, staffing, infrastructure and budget.
- Drive capability-led, globally aligned Hub growth and develop the Hub contribution across Product Enhancement, Product Category Ownership and Global Engineering Services.
- Implement the Innovation Excellence Hub Operating Model, connecting People, Domain and Product Leadership through clear responsibilities, decision rights and escalation paths.
- Ensure local execution remains aligned with global product, domain and process governance; prevent parallel local strategies, portfolios, standards or processes
People Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness
- Act as the line manager for the Hub organization and hold accountability for people leadership, performance, development, succession, capacity planning, local execution, culture and engagement.
- Set clear objectives and responsibilities, provide regular feedback and coaching, address performance issues, recognize contribution and develop future leaders and experts.
- Recruit and onboard employees in line with the approved Hub capability target picture, workforce plan, budget and global hiring governance.
- Create a high-performing, inclusive and values-driven environment that strengthens ownership, collaboration, learning and Belimo Credibility Culture.
Who You Are
Educational Requirements
- Degree from a university, university of applied sciences or equivalent institution in engineering,
technology or a related scientific discipline.
- Advanced education in business administration, leadership, finance or project / operations management is desirable.
Experience
- Proven experience in building or scaling technical teams and capabilities in an international matrix organization.
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and collaboration with Global Domains, Product Engineering, Production, Quality and other relevant functions.
- Strong business and financial understanding, including resource, budget and operational planning.
Personal Requirements
- Enterprise & Service‑oriented mindset and enjoyment of interface roles
- Strong communication skills; very good target group-oriented communication and presentation skills at all hierarchical levels
- Proficiency in English is required; Additional local or international languages are advantageous.
- Ownership mentality; high personal responsibility with the ability to organize, prioritize and delegate with resilience Empathetic, solution‑oriented, proactive, sound judgment, and courage to decide and escalate
- Ability to be influential in and beyond the reporting line across hierarchy and divisions (360°); Holistic thinking
- Willingness to travel internationally as up to approximately 10-15%, depending on business needs.
