Our experts are able to deploy original and customized solutions following a strategic vision that is based on distinctive CLEARR* values (Collaboration - Leadership - Excellence - Agility - Respect - Accountability) shared by all people in the Grant Thornton network. **Who are we looking for?** We are looking for a **Junior Insurance Consultant** with 1-2 years of experience in the insurance or financial services sector, preferably in the CFO or CRO areas, or with comparable experience in financial and/or insurance consulting. The consulting services we provide are primarily focused on Financial Analysis/Accounting/Administration, Risk Management, Strategy/Transaction, Transformation, Audit, and Compliance processes. We are looking forward to meeting talented consultants who have enthusiasm, determination, initiative, and proactivity.
- A solid academic background in economics, business, or finance.
- Knowledge of the insurance sector (life and/or non-life) in at least one of the following areas: insurance process organization/implementation, audit, and compliance with an emphasis on insurance regulations (IDD 2, POG, IVASS, EIOPA rules, etc.). Familiarity with key insurance standards like IFRS 17 and/or 9, Solvency II, and general or technical accounting.
- Previous experience in consulting, insurance and/or financial sector, audit firms, or insurance companies is considered a plus.
- Fluency in both written and spoken Italian and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
