14Projects is an independent Project & Construction Management and Commissioning Authority firm working exclusively owner-side on mission-critical infrastructure. We deliver hyperscale data centre programmes across Italy for international owners and developers, and we are now scaling into adjacent high-complexity verticals. The role
We are hiring a Business Development & Proposal Manager for our Mission Critical business unit. This is not a field sales role and it is not a marketing role: it is the person who industrialises our commercial engine — pipeline, prequalification, proposals and tenders — so that our technical leadership can spend its time where it creates value.
You will own the full pre-contract cycle, from first mapping of an opportunity to the signed order,



working side by side with the Managing Director and the Project & Commissioning Directors.
What you will do
Build and maintain the opportunity pipeline for data centre, energy and mission-critical programmes in Italy and selected EU markets: developers, hyperscalers, colocation operators, funds, general contractors and MEP contractors.
Run the CRM as a decision-making tool, not an archive: qualification, stage discipline, forecast on signed backlog, weekly commercial reporting.
Manage prequalification and vendor listing: supplier registration portals, PQQ, corporate and HSE documentation, certifications, references, insurance and framework agreements.
Coordinate the production of technical-economic proposals: scope definition with the technical team, day-rate and man-day build-up, resource loading, assumptions and exclusions, commercial terms, final formatting on corporate template.
