Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for testing electromechanical systems, verifying compliance with international safety and performance standards, and managing the product certification process for a range of industrial solutions.
You will contribute to the development and launch of electrification and automation systems used in ports, airports, heavy industry, and transportation fields.
Responsibilities:
Define test equipments, procedure and condition to perform reliable testing
Test equipments to investigate performances of the defined range of product, when required, according to a long term plan
Variable Frequency Drives programming, settings and parametrization
Define the instrumentation diagrams, together with the software developers, mechanical teams and suppliers
Collaborate closely with other teams to verify the existence and adequacy of type tests for current and new designs, providing expert technical input to support customer bids and product launches.
Design, develop, and execute test plans for new and existing products both internally and at external (3rd party) facilities
Manage the preparation and validation of all necessary documentation, test reports, and evidence to support regulatory certification, audits, and customer requirements.
Analyze and interpret test results, identify deviations, and collaborate with design teams to resolve issues and optimize product performance.
Maintain and continuously update the type test databases, including specialized records for seismic and other special tests, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
