. BE AN ESSENTIAL PART OF EVERYDAY LIFE **We are looking for a District General Manager_BU FMCG** **Role Purpose**:
Lead operational teams and manage the transition of people to DHL, ensuring strong people management, high safety standards, and operational excellence. Drive continuous improvement, maintain SLAs and KPIs, achieve economic targets, and build effective relationships with customers. The **District General Manager**, reporting directly to the BU Director will have the following responsibilities:
**What Will You Do**: - Lead operations ensuring compliance with safety, security, and DHL standards.
- Manage Multi Site budget and deliver expected EBIT targets.
- Drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
- Lead people management activities, including direct supervision of teams and union relationships.
- Ensure adherence to health & safety and DHL HR procedures,



Italian labor laws, and governance frameworks.
- Maintain alignment with DHL IT strategy and compliance requirements.
- Champion continuous improvement and build a high-performance culture. **Requirements**: - Degree in Engineering or Economics.
- At Least 10 Years of experience leading complex teams in Logistics, preferably FMCG/Food sector.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Proven track record in change management, project implementation, and continuous improvement. **Competencies**: - Staff management and leadership.
- Budget and P&L; responsibility.
- Change management.
- High customer orientation and relationship building.
