Commissioning Electrical Engineer – Site-based, Northern Italy

We are RISE, a fast-growing company based in Varese, Italy. In commissioning, we are recognized for who we are on site: hands-on approach, cross-disciplinary technical competence, and proven experience in complex projects — whether acting as Commissioning Manager for General Contractors or as Commissioning Authority. And we believe that behind every good project there are, first of all, people.

We are expanding our team and looking for a Commissioning Electrical Engineer.

What you will do

- Pre-commissioning and commissioning of MV/LV electrical systems: transformers, switchgear, protection relays, distribution systems
- Testing activities: insulation resistance, continuity, polarity checks, CT/VT verification, interlocking and functional tests
- FAT/SAT execution and documentation, QA/QC test packs, punch list management
- Day-by-day coordination with design teams, installation contractors and clients, directly on site
- Compliance verification with IEC and CEI standards

What we are looking for

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background
- At least 1 year of experience in commissioning of electrical systems (MV/LV)
- Hands-on experience with testing instruments and protection systems
- Knowledge of IEC/CEI standards; ETAP or similar tools are a plus
- The RISE approach: you solve problems in the field rather than escalate them, you are curious beyond your own discipline,



and you adapt quickly when the project changes — because complex projects always do
- Working knowledge of Italian (B1 or higher) for site coordination; English proficiency
- Driving licence (B) — essential requirement
- Full availability to work on construction sites, mainly in Northern Italy
- CEI 11-27 qualification (PES/PAV) is a plus — training will be provided if missing
