? We Are Hiring: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

? Olbia, Sardinia, Italy (On-site)

? Full-time A diversified holding company is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and governance of several business entities across different industries.

The portfolio includes

✔ International School

✔ Agricultural / Farming Business

✔ Hospitality & Hotel Operations

Reporting directly to the CEO and Shareholders, the CFO will play a key role in driving financial performance, safeguarding assets, managing liquidity, and supporting long-term business growth.

Key Requirements

✔ Fluent Italian and English (mandatory)

✔ 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience

✔ Strong understanding of the Italian business and regulatory environment

✔ Experience managing multi-entity or holding company structures

✔ Hands-on expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, deposits, and liquidity planning

✔ Experience with government grants, funding programs, and compliance reporting

✔ Strong knowledge of Odoo, DATEV, and ClickUp

✔ Previous experience managing and developing teams of up to 5 people

✔ Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with shareholders,



banks, auditors, and external advisors

Nice to Have

⭐ Experience in education, hospitality, agriculture, real estate, or family-owned businesses

⭐ Experience managing EU grants and public funding mechanisms

⭐ Background in international or multi-jurisdictional business structures

Key Responsibilities

- Lead financial operations across multiple business units
- Manage consolidated cash flow and liquidity planning
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Coordinate grant administration and ensure full compliance with reporting requirements
- Support investment decisions and evaluate business opportunities
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, consultants, and government institutions
- Ensure compliance with Italian accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Provide strategic financial guidance to shareholders and senior leadership
