This is a strategic role for an accomplished legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, complex, and client-centric environment, and who can balance strong legal judgment with practical business solutions.
The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, bringing a deep understanding of commercial transactions, risk management, regulatory considerations, and global business operations.This role requires an individual who can confidently navigate high-value, complex commercial negotiations while building strong partnerships across the organization.
You will be expected to provide pragmatic guidance that enables business growth, protects the company’s interests, and supports our continued transformation as a technology-enabled global services leader.
Success in this role requires exceptional stakeholder management skills, sound business acumen, and the ability to influence outcomes at the executive level.ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with the business and other stakeholders to provide strategic legal advice using broad expertise or unique knowledge, oversee contract negotiations and manage external counselKey role in mentoring mid-level counsel and junior team members; aligning legal principles and strategies with corporate objectives; may coordinate contracting activities of other personnelExtensive experience in commercial agreement review and high-stakes negotiationsAble to organise and lead commercial agreement reviewsAble to lead contract negotiations with external clientsEnsuring proactive legal risk management across the organisationApplies company policies and procedures to draft, analyse and redline complex and/or transformational commercial agreements with Concentrix clients by recognizing:the interdependencies between Concentrix and client obligationsConcentrix’s ability to comply with such termstheir effect on Concentrix profitabilityIn accordance with company policies and procedures,
able to suggest creative ways to resolve a wide range of contractual issuesAble to collaborate effectively with senior Legal Department personnel, Concentrix Sales and Account Managers and other internal stakeholdersResponsible for counselling internal business partners regarding contractual termsAbility to prioritise (and support colleagues’ prioritisation) in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to quickly refocus and execute short-term priorities in response to the demands of the businessFrequently advises others on complex mattersPerforms additional legal assignments and projects as may be requiredWorks independently with limited or no guidance and adapts style and uses persuasion in delivering messages that relate to contractual issuesRecognises internal or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues and recommends solutions/best practices or service improvements. xysqume QualificationsBachelor of Laws (L.LB) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent from a recognised universityComplete applicable MCLE/CPD requirements in respective jurisdiction to maintain practicing statusAt least 10 years of specialized legal experienceProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and basic document sharing management (e.g.
Sharepoint)Display leadership qualities in strategy and execution.Expert knowledge of national and international lawProficient in developing and executing corporate strategyExceptional negotiation and advocacy skillsStrong business acumen and decision-making abilitiesSkilled in navigating complex regulatory environmentsAdopt technology and embrace integration to enhance legal efficiencyStrategic thinker with a focus on innovation and change
