- RINA is currently recruiting for a **Data Analyst/Scientist** to join its office in Genova (Italy) within the **Marine Digital Solutions** Division. **Mission**-
**Key Accountabilities**Data Analysis & Modeling**:
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to support business intelligence solutions.
- Perform statistical analysis and data mining on large and complex datasets.
- **Solution Development**:
- Design, implement, and optimize data science solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Improve and maintain existing business intelligence tools and data platforms.
- **Data Visualization & Communication**:
- Create clear and effective data visualizations to support decision-making.
- Present analytical results and insights to internal stakeholders and external customers.
- **Collaboration & Innovation**:
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of developers and naval architects.
- Contribute to the creation of new digital solutions for RINA’s marine clients.
- **Technology & Tools**:
- Use data visualization tools such as Power BI to build interactive dashboards.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
- Stay up to date with emerging data science methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Proactively suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy of data-driven processes. **Education**
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering**Qualifications**2-5 years of experience in data science, predictive modeling, and data analysis.-
Proven experience handling and processing large datasets.-
Proficiency in Python and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.-
Familiarity with data visualization and presentation tools (e.g., Power BI).-
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights clearly.-
Fluency in Italian and English.**Competencies**
