The work model for the role is: hybrid Your Role And Responsibilities Take ownership and lead business analytics projects in partnership with ABB Business Areas and Group Functions. Understand and connect the dots between business objectives, systems and data to create meaningful analytics insights that drive value for ABB. Develop processes for effective data migration, validation, analysis and reporting. Establish and implement quality controls and standards to ensure reliable outcomes, alignment with business requirements and compliance with internal control frameworks.
Manage the infrastructure in coordination with global IT team to ensure the business analytics applications and servers are fully functional. Adapt the current architecture to fast-changing requirements, to support business analytics projects and align to business objectives. This includes managing relationships with third-party data integration, cloud platform and application providers when needed. Continuously monitor and assess developments and emerging trends in data integration, cloud data platforms, artificial intelligence and automation. Pilot innovative analytics methods to drive new insights discovery and keep up with industry best practices, including opportunities to apply artificial intelligence, machine learning and generative AI to business processes and analytics use cases.
