Account Executive - Public Sector (All genders)
In this role, you drive growth for Genetec in Italy with a focus on public sector accounts. You will build and manage relationships with government and public institutions, promoting Genetec’s unified security platform. You’ll lead the full sales cycle, collaborate with partners and internal teams, and deliver value-driven security solutions to complex buyers. This position offers the opportunity to shape public-sector security programs and expand our Italy footprint with strategic, cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline for Italy focused on the public sector to meet revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities and engage public-sector end users, consultants, and system integrators
- Promote Genetec solutions (video management, access control, ALPR, unified security)
- Lead end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to proposal, tender/RFP, negotiation, and closing
- Collaborate with channel partners to expand market presence and drive joint opportunities
- Coordinate with pre-sales, marketing, and partner teams to craft winning strategies
- Deliver presentations and value propositions to C-level and technical stakeholders
- Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline in CRM
- Represent Genetec at industry events and customer meetings in Italy
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities in the public sector
- Proven success in enterprise or complex B2B solution sales, ideally in the public sector
- Experience selling physical security solutions
- Strong track record of direct end-user engagement and consultative selling
- Experience in channel-driven or partner-based sales models
- Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder sales environments and long buying cycles
