Position Snapshot

- Logistics Engineer
- Permanent and full-time role

- University Degree in Engineering
- Manufacturing projects management: at least 3 years of experience in capital investment projects development and implementation in food industry
- Fluency in English is required. Italian knowledge would be a plus.
- Compensation Package: CCNL Industria Alimentare, 2° Level, Gross Annual Base Salary €48.000,00.
Position Summary
Ensure implementation and start-up phases of capital investment projects on the manufacturing site, following the project brief, design specifications and Nestlé standards.
A Day in the life of a Logistics Engineer:
- Take site constraints into account in the project definition and design
- Fulfill engineering project concept
- Organize project execution
- Mobilize resources (internal & external)
- Ensure the coordination with plant design
- Select and qualify contactors
- Coordinate contractors’ activities
- Ensure Nestlé standards are applied
- Help the Vertical Project Manager to review the Vertical Project brief
- Promote development of environment-friendly and sustainable solutions.
What else will make you successful?
- Determination of methods to minimize the likelihood of injuries or damages to people and/or equipment (Health, Safety & Environment)
- Factory operations background.
