Role description
Arcadis is looking for a skilled Design Manager that will join our team. You will be responsible for the technical coordination of an interdisciplinary design team both from Arcadis and external parties such as subcontractors or clients. You will also lead and integrate efforts across our international Arcadis Delivery Centers, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of project milestones while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will maintain direct communication with clients and suppliers, managing expectations and activities.
Role accountabilities
- Management of coordination activities in a BIM environment,
formulating inputs and observations on the ACC platform.
- Verification of the qualitative and quantitative technical contents of the design in relation to the project requirements in the various phases of work; care of official deliveries to the customer.
- Punctual verification of the work carried out by external consultants through continuous contact with them and management of their invoices.
- Coordination of permitting activities and specialist consultancy to obtain building permits; knowledge of environmental permits is considered a plus.
- Preparation of summary reports relating to the various project phases for company management.
- Management and monitoring of planning, verification, and control of the execution times of each activity, both for Arcadis teams and external suppliers.
