Hamilton Court FX, founded in 2011 in London, is one of the fastest-growing companies in its sector. In 2020, driven by strong growth in the UK, HCFX opened a new office in Milan, becoming the first licensed SIM to offer FX investment services in Italy. The Milan office includes two regulated entities: a “Società d’Intermediazione Mobiliare” (SIM) and an “Istituto di Pagamento” (IdP). About the role
An FX Sales Trader plays a crucial role in the financial markets, particularly in the foreign exchange (FX) sector. This role is dynamic and requires a deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored FX solutions
- Monitoring and analyzing foreign exchange markets to provide clients with timely and relevant market insights
- Executing FX trades on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identifying and managing risks associated with FX trading activities, adhering to internal and external risk management policies
- Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the client base through proactive sales efforts
- Maintaining accurate records of all trading activities and preparing regular reports for clients and management
- Working closely with other departments, such as compliance, operations, and research, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Essential experience & skills
- +3 years of experience as FX Sales/Corporate Sales (B2B)
- Fluent Italian and good English speaker. Other languages are a plus
