Skyworth Solar has established a local office in Milan and is actively building its presence across the Italian market, supported by a comprehensive portfolio of residential and commercial solar+storage solutions.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and technically proficient Service Engineer to join our after-sales team in Italy. You will provide on-site and remote technical support for our solar PV and energy storage systems across Italy and the wider European region, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Service & Support

- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting,



and repair for solar PV systems and energy storage solutions
- Conduct preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
- Provide remote technical support to customers and partners via phone, email, and online platforms
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to PV inverters, hybrid inverters, ESS, and balance-of-system components

Customer Training & Technical Enablement

- Design and deliver technical training on inverter installation, operation, and maintenance for distributors, installers, and end-users
- Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, video guides, and FAQs
- Continuously update training content to reflect new product enhancements and industry best practices

Quality & Process Improvement

- Investigate technical failures and recurring faults;
conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and prepare detailed technical reports for internal management and customers
- Collect, analyze, and provide structured feedback on customer issues and product performance to R&D; and product teams for continuous improvement
- Manage service case records and spare parts inventory, ensuring proper documentation and traceability

Stakeholder & Partner Management





- Coordinate with local service partners and EPC contractors to ensure service quality and compliance with local regulations
- Communicate regularly with internal sales teams, engineering divisions, and management to support business development and project completion

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in technical service, field support, or a similar role within the solar PV, renewable energy, or power electronics industry
- Proven experience in PV inverter repairs, commissioning, and system integration

Technical Skills

- Strong technical understanding of solar PV systems, energy storage systems (ESS), and electrical safety protocols
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and software (SCADA systems knowledge is a plus)
- Familiarity with quality tools and root cause analysis methodologies
- Knowledge of Italian grid connection standards and regulatory frameworks is a strong plus

Soft Skills

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- High level of commitment, responsiveness, and a customer-focused mindset

Language & Travel

- Professional fluency in Italian is required
- Professional fluency in English is required (working language with headquarters)
- Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a strong plus for communication with headquarters and R&D; teams
- Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and occasionally to other European markets as required
