Scope
Scope of the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Medical Director to join Alfasigma for the UK & Ireland affiliate. This role will report to the Country Head, UKIE and is a key member of the Leadership Team.
The Country Medical Director, UK & Ireland will develop, lead and manage the Medical Affairs team in the UK & Ireland, driving medical strategy and disease awareness. The Country Medical Director works to execute the global medical operational plans locally working in partnership with the local cross functional and UK&IE; Leadership Team. They will also play a key role within the Global Medical Affairs Team (GMAT).
Your role
- Lead and develop the UK & Ireland Medical Affairs function as final medical signatory, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centred medical strategy and operations while maintaining robust medical governance and compliance standards
