Back-end Developer Join the Pegasoft Team At Pegasoft, we design and develop innovative digital solutions for public and private organizations, transforming ideas into reliable, scalable software products.
We are looking for a passionate Back-End Developer to join our growing team and contribute to the development of modern enterprise applications and backend services based on Java technologies.
Your role You will work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the design, development and maintenance of backend applications throughout the entire software lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- developing backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
- designing and implementing REST APIs and third-party integrations
- building scalable, secure and maintainable software components
- implementing new features and enhancing existing applications
- improving application performance, security and code quality
- collaborating with Front-End Developers,
Mobile Developers and Project Managers in an Agile environment
Requirements We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in backend development and knowledge of:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Maven or Gradle
- SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent relational databases)
- Git
Nice to have
- experience developing REST APIs
- knowledge of Spring Data JPA / Hibernate
- familiarity with microservices architecture
- experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- familiarity with Linux and Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or similar)
- good written and spoken English
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
