We are looking for a strategic and inspiring Sr. Manager, UX Design to lead a multi-disciplinary design team delivering exceptional user experiences across complex, cross-functional product areas. In this role, you will set the design vision, build and develop a high-performing team, and partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to create customer-centric solutions that are simple, elegant, and impactful at scale.
You operate at the intersection of customer needs, business goals, and technical boundaries — bringing clarity and cohesion to ambiguous, high‑stakes design challenges. You are a leader of leaders who fosters a culture of innovation, inclusion, and design excellence.
Key job responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX designers (and potentially design managers), spanning multiple products or programs within the organization
- Define and drive the UX strategy and design vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and long‑term customer needs
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Research to influence product definition, roadmaps, and strategic initiatives
- Champion human‑centered design practices and raise the design bar across the organization
- Guide your team to work backwards from the customer, delivering solutions that are simple, functional, and beautiful
- Foster innovation and a culture of strategic risk‑taking, diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Drive narrative and strategic initiatives (e.g., vision documents, design tenets, long‑range plans)
- Build alignment across partner teams and senior stakeholders; manage escalations and navigate competing priorities with sound judgment
- Establish design standards, patterns, and processes that scale across teams and organizations
- Recruit, develop, and retain top design talent; build a pipeline of future design leaders
- Present design strategy and work to executive leadership, influencing outcomes at the organizational level

Basic Qualifications

- 10+ years of design experience
- 5+ years of leading multi‑discipline Design teams (ie.
visual design, interaction design, user research, etc.) experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience leading a diverse team in the delivery of experiences from end to end (user flows, wireframes, high‑fidelity visuals)
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience presenting to and effectively advising senior leaders outside of design
- Experience embedding design within product teams for agile design and development collaboration

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
