/p h3Your Job /h3 pWithin Operations, in the Process Engineering Group, the Process and Machinery Engineer analyzes and develops project proposals from the NPD team and sustains activities assigned by the Manufacturing Integration Engineer (MIE).
The role is part of the RD technical team, collaborating with RD and Engineering, and mentoring a junior Project Engineer.
/p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liOwn end?to?end execution from design through development, debug, and release into production, ensuring smooth start?up and continuous improvement.
/li liIdentify optimal technologies, equipment specifications, and process settings aligned with customer requirements and MIE strategy.
/li liSupport design, development, commissioning, and optimisation of tooling (e.g. stranding, extrusion, assembly, shielding).
/li liDefine investment requirements, timelines, and budgets; coordinate all phases from concept to commissioning.
/li liPartner with internal stakeholders, plant teams, and safety to align requirements, ensure compliance, and transfer knowledge across sites.
/li /ul h3Additional / Supporting Responsibilities /h3 ul liMaintain and update machinery database.
/li liDefine and validate safety specifications for new equipment during commissioning.
/li liSupport local teams in troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
/li liIdentify and deploy best practices at plant level.
/li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 ul liRelevant experience education: over 7?8 years in technical/manufacturing roles; engineering degree preferred (Mechanical, Electrical or similar) and equivalent experience.
/li liTechnical expertise (nice to have): knowledge of automated assembly and plastic extrusion; CAD experience and production/plant exposure are advantageous.
/li liStrong domain understanding: hands?on experience within Process Engineering activities and its workflows.
/li liStrong problem?solving continuous improvement mindset: ability to identify technical/process issues, develop solutions, and drive change with an entrepreneurial approach.
/li liStakeholder management collaboration: proven ability to work cross?functionally and manage relationships across multicultural, multi?site environments.
/li liCommunication team effectiveness: influencing/coaching, negotiation, and teamwork skills with good situational awareness.
/li liLanguages: fluent Italian and good English are key.
