We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to strengthen our Sealing Technology Project Management team and drive technical excellence across rubber molding technologies, supplier development, and product industrialization.
/p pHiring Location: Either in North Italy or South of Germany (therefore 2 job ads) /p h3YOUR MISSION /h3 ul liProvide technical leadership and expertise for injection and compression molded rubber components, including tooling design, compound selection, and manufacturing processes for engineering projects.
/li liLead engineering support during the quotation process by performing advanced should?cost analyses, validating technical concepts, and selecting the most suitable manufacturing partners.
/li liDrive Design-to-Cost initiatives by challenging and optimizing material selection, tooling concepts, product design, and production technologies.
/li liManage Make-or-Buy decisions, supplier selection, and the complete sampling process from prototype order through PPAP/approval to successful serial production.
/li liOptimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by developing and managing a high-performing supplier portfolio while ensuring quality, cost competitiveness, and supply reliability.
/li liSupport business growth by leading engineering projects, executing product and business development strategies, and acting as the technical competence center for rubber molding technologies.
/li liCollaborate closely with sales, sourcing, suppliers,

and cross?functional international teams to deliver innovative and competitive customer solutions while promoting technical excellence across the organization.
/li /ul h3YOUR PROFILE /h3 ul liDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Bachelor's, Master's, FH, or University).
/li liMinimum of 5 years of hands?on experience in rubber manufacturing, particularly injection molding of rubber components such as O?rings and technical molded parts.
/li liStrong project management experience in a customer?facing, international environment with proven ability to coordinate cross?functional stakeholders.
/li liExtensive knowledge of rubber molding technologies, including injection molding, compression molding, transfer molding, cold runner systems, tooling design, compounds, and production equipment.
/li liSolid understanding of strategic sourcing, supplier selection, should?cost analysis, procurement processes, and basic supply chain management.
/li liAbility to read and interpret complex technical drawings, combined with strong analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
/li liExcellent communication skills, a proactive and self?driven mindset,

customer orientation, teamwork, and fluency in English.
Italian language skills are a must.
