Job Summary
This position is preferably intended for candidates belonging to protected categories with certification as beneficiary law 68/99 Art.1 (employment of people with disability). As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Customer Solutions Manager (CSM), you will be responsible for guiding the largest and most complex Italian customers along their multi‑year journey to the cloud.
Responsibilities
In this highly visible role you will ensure that all AWS teams work together effectively and efficiently to deliver outcomes for the customer. You will serve as a critical partner to AWS customers, leveraging your delivery experience with large‑scale transformations to shepherd the customer through stages of AWS adoption, guiding them through operational, educational and governance aspects of a successful cloud journey. You will interface with AWS leadership, drive collaboration with core account groups (Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services), product/engineering teams and customer teams, plan and support major workload migrations, translate strategic initiatives in the account plan into executable actions, execute education plans, roadmap to business outcome alignments, Executive Briefing Sessions, and go‑live events and transitions that are critical to the customer’s successful cloud journey. You will evangelize AWS services, influence customers to adopt them, and be obsessed with contributing to the day‑to‑day management of your customers’ successful adoption of AWS.
Basic Qualifications
Experience leading complex, large‑scale IT/digital/business transformation or migration programs
Experience in a customer‑facing role
Great written and verbal communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to effectively deliver information to C‑suite/VP level
Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with precise attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience implementing AWS/cloud services
Robust understanding of key technology and market trends
AWS Solution Architect Associate certification
Salary and Benefits
Italy – 55,500 EUR gross annually. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full‑time basis. For part‑time hours, the salary will be pro‑rated. Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include a sign‑on payment and, if applicable, participation in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in the USA. In addition to statutory benefits and those applicable to the relevant CBA, company supplementary benefits may apply subject to further terms.
