As a Software Engineer at Hitachi Rail, you contribute to the design, development and updating of manufacturing software, balancing budget, schedule, risk, and reuse. You work on digitalization and production-support tools that enable efficient processes in the manufacturing area. You collaborate to deliver complete software solutions aligned with company standards and ensure reliable operation across platforms. - Contribute to design, development and updating of software for the manufacturing area considering functional, performance and quality constraints




- Manage software and the network supporting the manufacturing area
- Implement digitalization processes in manufacturing and execute actions per the MFG action plan
- Support production processes with new technologies and software
- Provide production line support and ensure the complete SW solution (modules, documentation, tools) adheres to company standards
- Ensure correct operation of software on applicable platforms
- Advanced software techniques, scheduling and cost estimation
