- Demolition of architectural and structural elements as required for renovation projects.
- Wall lay-out and installation of metal stud framing, insulation, gypsum wall board, and finishing.
- Installation of Sound Transmission Class (STC) 45+ and Radio Frequency (RF) door frame/door assemblies that will meet 3rd party testing requirements.
- Installation of door hardware to include electrified locksets, mechanical access control devices, X-10 electromechanical high security combination lock and LKM10K X-10 Lock Series Systems.
- Layout and installation of acoustical ceiling tile systems.
- Layout and installation of flooring - VCT, Anti-static floor tiles, carpet tiles/broadloom.
- Safely use various hand and power tools.
- Comply with all safety standards.
- Construction and installation of RF Shielding & STC Mitigation materials per ICD/ICS 705,
UFC 4-010-05 and “Best Practices Guideline for Architectural Radio Frequency Shielding”.
- Ability to work with and assist all trades on project site. **Qualifications** Minimum Qualification: A bachelor's degree, OR;
- An associate's degree plus 4 years of recent specialized experience, OR;
- a High School degree and 8 years of recent specialized experience.
- Current DoD Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required. Security Clearance Requirements - must be a US Citizen.
- U.S. Federal government experience required.
- Must have experience completing complex construction projects. Demonstrated ability to deal with different variables of a project such as difficult client and/or complexity of scope of work.
- Extensive knowledge of various areas of construction for trades coordination.
- Working knowledge and implementation of ICD/ICS 705 and UFC 4-010-05.
- Working knowledge of the Safety Requirements of USACE EM385-1-1.
- Exceptional teamwork, communication, and people skills are essential.
- Proficient with renovations and new construction projects.
