As Baccarat prepares to unveil its first hotel in Europe, we are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead one of the most anticipated luxury hotel openings in Rome. As Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the hotel's physical environment reflects the same uncompromising standards as the Baccarat name itself. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, the manager will provide operational leadership across all engineering, maintenance, building systems and asset management functions throughout both the pre-opening and operational phases of the hotel. During pre-opening,
you will assist to establish the engineering department from the ground up—developing systems, recruiting and mentoring your team, commissioning building services, managing defects and contractor relationships, implementing preventative maintenance programmes and ensuring every aspect of the hotel is ready for opening day. Once operational, you will continue to supervise the department, protecting one of Rome's most prestigious luxury assets while delivering an environment that is safe, efficient, sustainable and flawlessly maintained.
