About this vacancy
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating and enhancing our software development and deployment processes. If you are passionate about streamlining workflows, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and collaborating across teams, we invite you to contribute to our innovative and forward-thinking environment.
Key responsabilities include:
- Drive Automation: Build smart automation for deployments, infrastructure, and configuration to keep everything running smoothly.
- Own CI/CD: Design and manage pipelines that deliver fast, reliable releases (AWS, Azure DevOps, SonarQube).
- Stay Ahead with Monitoring: Set up proactive monitoring and logging to catch issues before they matter.
- Master Containerization: Develop and orchestrate containerized apps with modern tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, etc.).
- Bridge Dev & Ops: Be the connector, fostering collaboration and improving workflows across teams.
- Champion Security: Apply best practices for access, vulnerability management, and compliance.
- Optimize Performance: Continuously tune systems for speed, scalability, and efficiency.
- Implement and test backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Document for Success: Keep clear, accessible documentation to support onboarding and compliance.
What we expect from you
- Education: M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Tech Skills: Strong scripting/programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell), configuration management, and hands-on experience with DevOps tools.
- Cloud Expertise:
Familiarity with Azure, AWS.
- Containers: Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- CI/CD: Practical knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools for build, test, and deployment.
- Monitoring: Understanding of monitoring and logging tools and best practices.
- Ability to implement security measures across DevOps processes.
- Languages: Good command of Italian and English is mandatory
- Strong motivation for TMC’s Employeneurship model
What you can expect from us
The position offers a permanent employment contract, and the base Gross Annual Salary – RAL will be no less than €31.000, in line with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution and Services.
TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package. At the end of the recruitment process, after assessing the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may offer a final gross annual salary higher than the amount stated above.
In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a project profit-sharing component, an individual annual learning and development budget of €4,000 net, and an annual welfare allowance. Further details will be provided during the recruitment process, in accordance with the company's applicable policies.
