We are looking for a Firmware Engineer with expertise in VHDL and FPGA design, who will be involved in the development, integration, and validation of firmware for complex electronic systems.

About this vacancy

The resource will be responsible for: - Development and integration of Firmware. - Integration, testing, and modification of Engineering Version and Early Version Firmware. - Collaboration with the integrated team for the analysis and verification of input documentation. - Definition and management of Firmware requirements. - Contribution to the definition of Firmware architecture. - Participation in Firmware development process reviews, with particular focus on the Design phase, and drafting of the required technical documentation. - Development of testbenches for the verification of Firmware submodules and support for HW test activities. - Participation in Hardware/Firmware integration activities and related validation phases. - Management of potential design variants related to Firmware evolution and updating the corresponding technical documentation.

What we expect from you

- Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent disciplines.
- At least 2 years of experience in firmware development for FPGA devices.
- Knowledge of VHDL language and main FPGA development workflows.




- Experience in HW/FW integration and verification activities.
- Ability to read and write technical documentation.
- Italian language proficiency at C1 level.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
- Availability to work on-site.

What you can expect from us

The position offers a permanent contract, and the base gross annual salary (RAL) offered will not be less than €32,000, in line with the provisions of the CCNL Commercio – Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi.

TMC is committed to providing a competitive remuneration package and, at the end of the selection process, evaluating the candidate's experiences, skills, and qualifications, may propose a final RAL higher than the level indicated above.

In line with our business model, the final remuneration package also includes a direct participation component in project profits (profit sharing), an individual budget for skill development of €4,000 net annually, and an annual welfare credit. Further details will be provided during the selection phase, in accordance with the company's current policies.
