This is not a traditional law firm role. As part of the company's network, you’ll have the autonomy to select projects aligned with your expertise, manage your own schedule, and focus on delivering impactful legal work without the constraints of a conventional firm structure.
If you’re an experienced commercial contracts attorney looking for flexible, project-based work with top tech clients, this is an opportunity to do meaningful legal work on your terms. Candidates must be a qualified avvocato/avvocata in Italy, in good standing.
Example project types include:
- SaaS agreements
- Vendor and supplier contracts
- NDAs and data processing agreements
- Commercial terms and conditions
- General contract review and redlining for tech companies
What You’ll Do
- Review, draft, and redline a variety of commercial agreements.
- Advise clients on contract terms, risk exposure, and negotiation strategies.
- Deliver precise, high-quality legal work with efficient turnaround times.
- Licensed avvocato/avvocata admitted to an Italian Bar, in good standing
- 5+ years of experience focused on commercial contracts, corporate law (technology-related agreements), and/or corporate tax
- Experience at a top-tier law firm, boutique law firm, or as in-house counsel at a start-up/technology company
- Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
- Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance
Commitment: This is a project-based, ongoing independent contractor position staffed via HireArt. The role is fully remote and open to candidates based in Italy. Applicants must be a licensed avvocato/avvocata admitted to an Italian Bar, in good standing.
