PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Within the CAB Purchasing team,



the resource will be responsible for managing a complete product line in terms of both operative and strategic tasks.
This includes:
Lead supplier evaluation, selection and sourcing activities for assigned CAB commodities (Steel and Components), while supporting regional and global sourcing projects in collaboration with commodity teams.
Develop and implement supply base management strategies, both regionally and globally, aimed at achieving the lowest total cost while ensuring quality, service, delivery performance and innovation.
Negotiate, implement and manage Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), achieving commercial savings, raw material recovery and total cost reduction objectives while supporting business priorities.
Drive supplier development, VA/VE initiatives and process improvement activities to support productivity and budget targets.
Monitor market trends, industry developments, cost drivers, capacity constraints, technology advancements and supplier performance to proactively identify
