Junior Software Quality Engineer Posting Date: 21 Jun 2026 City: Roma Location: Roma, IT, 00131 Contract Type: Permanent Division: Operating Engine Level of experience: Junior RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Software Quality Engineer to join its team in Roma within the Operating Engine Division.​
Mission
The Software Quality Engineer in the aerospace and defense sector focuses on ensuring that the production processes and products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for inspecting production documents, verifying testing steps, managing non-conformities. Additionally, you will perform process validations in accordance with standards and the company quality. #LI-FS1 Key Accountabilities
As a Software Quality Engineer at RINA Consulting S.p.A., you will have a diverse set of key accountabilities that contribute to the success of our projects and satisfy our customers' expectations:
- Act as the quality interface towards programs, project teams, and customers,



ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Participate in formal software reviews, including documenting meeting minutes, recording review outcomes, and tracking related actions.
- Verify software definition documentation, manage variants in different software versions, and handle non-conformities effectively.
- Take part in the Dry-Run phase and formal tests on released software products, ensuring correct execution of tests and managing non-conformities.
- Prepare reports, metrics, and trends to monitor project progress and quality standards.
- Create and update software quality plans, as well as support the development of software management plans.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering Qualifications
