Junior Software Implementation Consultant (B2B / Freelance)

Scope of engagement:

Long-term collaboration on IT/software implementation projects.

Estimated workload comparable to a full-time engagement, with flexibility in scheduling.

Compensation:

Annual contract value:
€24,000 – €40,000 gross
- Fixed monthly retainer
- Performance-based bonuses for successful software implementations

This role is offered on a B2B basis. Candidates must have, or be ready to obtain, Partita IVA status in Italy.

Role Overview





We are looking for a Software Implementation Consultant to support pre-sales and implementation activities for retail software solutions. This role combines client-facing communication with hands-on involvement in software deployment and user enablement.

The position is offered under a Service Agreement (B2B) and is suitable for professionals registered as Partita IVA in Italy.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including client meetings, needs discussions, and software demonstrations
- Support the implementation projects of Retano’s software solutions
- Conduct pilot deployments and pre-project system setups
- Configure the system according to project requirements
- Deliver user training and provide implementation-related support
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution

- 1–3 years of overall professional experience in one or more of the following areas: food or fashion retail,
