General Job Description

Position Overview
The Licensed Journeyman Plumber is responsible for performing plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair activities for residential and commercial projects in accordance with company standards, safety requirements, and applicable codes. This role works independently on routine installation tasks while supporting field operations, quality workmanship, and operational efficiency. This position requires a current Kentucky plumbing license and will support projects throughout Northern Kentucky while reporting to the KEP Amelia, Ohio office.
Primary Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, piping, fixtures, and related equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and work orders to complete installations accurately and efficiently.
Measure, cut, assemble, and install plumbing components in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes.
Troubleshoot plumbing issues and assist with identifying and resolving installation or operational concerns.
Coordinate with field personnel, supervisors,



vendors, and internal departments regarding job progress, material needs, and project updates.
Maintain accurate work orders, installation documentation, and jobsite records.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, plumbing codes, and operational standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in safe and organized condition.
Support jobsite organization, material tracking, and operational efficiency throughout project execution.
Provide professional customer interactions and maintain positive working relationships on jobsites.
Assist with training and supporting entry-level technicians as assigned.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
